Campus Assault, part one!

If you saw a group of lycra-clad crazies braving the first day of class traffic around Tampa Campus this morning, you weren’t seeing things. Four of USF’s team members went on an hour long spin around campus this morning. We started from Athletics around 11 AM.
Shortly thereafter we turned Leroy Collins into our own personal playground.
Next up was the Marshall Center and Residence Halls. The USF Team categorically apologizes for any inconvenienced pedestrians around Argos dining. We finished off the day with a brisk paceline down 42nd Street. Yours truly then proceeded to wave at some students waiting for a bus, come unclipped while standing, and generally look like a dolt while trying to avoid eating pavement. Should tighten that pedal, I guess.

Tomorrow is the first day of classes in the Fall for USF Students. USF Cycling is ready to roll too, keep an eye out for us spinning around campus or at the Bull Market on Wednesday.
Our first scheduled team ride is Saturday, August 30th, 8:00 AM at Flatwoods Park. If you’re curious about the team, send an email to team@bullscycling.com and show up for the ride Saturday. After the ride, we’re Tailgating USF’s first home game, and I don’t need to tell you how awesome that will be.
The first meeting for new riders is Wednesday September 3rd at 9pm. Stay tuned for more details, but seriously, you should be there.

The USF Cycling Team is starting the 2008-2009 season in style!
We are accepting new riders starting the first week of school. At various locations around campus the team will have a tent with information for new riders. Check the Upcoming Events tab for information about where to find us!
The first meeting will be Wednesday September 3rd at 9 PM. Location to be determined.
